Standard Chinchilla
The Standard Chinchilla is a commercial rabbit breed. The weight is 7 pounds and they have long muscular bodies. We have added a breeding pair of Chins to help familiarize ourselves with the commercial meat rabbit breeds. The Standard Chinchilla is a highly refined breed because of the amount that have been breed. They are almost identical with the only distinction between rabbits being the definition of narrow banded rings in their fur. Pictured above is Willie K. Straightears. He is a sweet fella and we have babies from him and our doe Crazy. We will let you know more as we learn.
